I don’t think you listen to the words that she said “The father wasn’t in the home in a positive way” She had to be the one to protect and provide for her children. She was the one that Had to paid the bills. She’s the one that had to do “what he would have done HAD HE BEEN THERE ” ( How can a woman be just the mother, when the father is NOT A MAN) Instead of criticizing, a woman doing two jobs (being the mother and the father) on top of holding it all down and keeping a roof over their heads why don’t you say something to the boys who are fathers while calling themselves men? before anyone says anything stupid I do not hate men my son‘s father and I have been together for over 30 years and we raised our child together.
This delusional mess is why there are so many highly emotional dysfunctional men in the world. It takes a man to raise one, men need to see and be taught to be a man from a man. This looney needs to stop acting like she filled the father's role when no woman can do that. That's the fact of the matter.

CAP! My mom use to say this same thing, to me and my 2 brothers, but a woman can never raise a man! Although I was considered the good kid, at 12 I was having sex, coming home at 3 am and going to house parties where they would smoke and drink. My mom thought it was the right thing to do by “letting us be boys”. But at 39 I’m seeking God to show me how to be a man! I never really heard I love you from her nor do I really remember her giving us hugs to express love or congratulate us. She did her best but God gave the role of a father to men! I love and respect my mom but we needed a father! So to the woman making those weird facial expressions in agreement with what this woman is saying, single mom’s need to be mom’s! God will guide us on how to be men if that single mom is rooted in Jesus Christ! Otherwise we look up to drug dealers, fake rappers and lustful habits.

Me too I just didn’t know bc I didn’t have anybody to teach me anything bc I was on my own since 12 but I’m wonderful now I know I loved mine though ( my version of love back then) I learned better by watching other ppl
Women must make better choices in men and Men need more therapy to become better versions of themselves... We are out here not effectively communicating, holding past trauma, and being extremely reckless in our sexual behavior choices. This can be all cleared up if both Men and Women become more accountable and get relationship therapy ASAP
That's so sad bc that's the story of so many black women.

i was and still the same way .I have to.do it all. so the gentleness of a mother didnt or don't always come out...but I always tell them I love them.
it's an extremely multitask position but very possible to be both mother and "father". what she's saying is she priorities what she felt was important parenting because she believes it was what her kiddos needed. I love to hear her speak. The topic choices are worth thinking about 💭

Same here and I didn’t realize it. Just did what needed to be done since the courts wouldn’t even rule properly to do anything to have at least financial help. When my ex was angry about he was to pay. Told the judge he refused to pay and would quit his job first on his way out the judge should have called him back and admonished him warned if he didn’t pay. This guy stopped working so then …..
