I never ever got what I asked for, for Christmas or my birthday. Never. My brother got everything he wanted

they used to play jokes on me for my bday too. I guess it can be a trauma thing depending on the child's age. they used to wrap my 99cent store gifts in boxes of things i actually wanted and asked for. a few times I did chores to earn these things. Just boxes they pulled out of someone's trash to prank me.
