I think it's funny and I believe we've all been in a situation like this where we at least "wished" we'd brought the salt. 😅🤭 I've had many bland meals and was grateful for it as I would never want to insult my host. (Again) I also had an experience as another commenter talked about putting sauce on his meat,(and they got mad) Well I added extra salt. In which they said, "I salted it plenty," and in that moment I felt bad...Like I was insulting their food. 😬

In my whole lifetime.. I’ve only had one home cooked meal that I disliked.. no disrespect to Africans ppls, but this lady was an African.. the way the chicken was made it was like stewed/boil cooked with the all the fat and skin there, the sauce was this red thick sauce like hella paprika or something idk.. Me and my boy at the time were teens help her with errands..idk how old she was, but she had one of those amazing body ever (as 15-17 yr we enjoy viewing) 😂😂 we would give her little help with moving heavy stuff and she would braid our hair.. one day she invited us.. “I’m cooking come upstairs in two hours” The food was horrible, but we didn’t wanna make her feel bad because she was hot and the only reliable braider in the area for free. 🤷♂️ long story short.. she makes me never want to try any African meal again. Sad, but true. I don’t even wanna date an African lady because I’m thinking that’s the type of food I will be offered.. nothing against African folks though.
