just so we are straight this is a normal way to feed your family. the reason the mothers plate is small is because she prepared the food and we are always tasting it so we can be sure it's good enough for our family. I know for me by the time the food is ready I'm just about full so I really don't need that much. I have enough to sit with the family so we can all eat together. thank you
