I had a retired Greyhound. Sassmouth Pretty Baby (Sassy). She raced me to the mailbox 1/4 mile around a corner every morning. If I got the jump on her she would cut through the cornfield to beat me. 45 miles an hour the whole way. Her body looked stationary and her legs were a blur. it was so cool
my dogs got 2 speeds also they're called slow and stop

I had a friend in Missouri on country roads.His pit bull would run in front of his car at a about 18 miles an hour and never look back.We never did see how far he would go.But he never did stop.I think he would run until he dropped 😂
