If you've had lobster at a restaurant or even crableggs, they usually serve it. With butter and that butter is usually clarified butter. Get some and try it. you'll know if you did. But if you didn't have it before. You'll like it.

Probably a mudlobster. They are rarely seen but are a vital part of a healthy mangrove. They are responsible for the huge mounds of mud in the back mangroves. There are two species of mudlobsters found in Singapore. .

Lobster is very expensive but this is a crayfish that has come near the end of life.
I've caught them that big here in ohio..but the shell doesn't look like that..tough and dry or red...that must be in China over there somewhere

crayfish... basically lobster of the river...in the tropics we'd hunt for em at night on riverbanks with a flashlight, spear and machete..they love to hide inside any fallen rotten bamboo and under debris/ rocks ...( thus the reason for the need for the machete( cutlass)...I like his trap tho, id love to learn how to make one....these guys are as elusive and hard to find at day...only way we'd catch em is at night when the two red eyes glow back at you in the dark, so you spear em quick..
