I actually had a dolphin swim up to me and gently nudge me while I was under water at fort story beach in Virginia Beach. I did not know it was a dolphin until it “spoke” the sound it makes. I got out of the water and a few minutes later saw a shark.I think the dolphin warned me! Truth!
My step father served in the Navy during WWII. He told me if you were in the ocean with sharks around, you'd better pray for Dolphins. They get underneath the shark and come at it full force, ramming it in the stomach until it kills it. Dolphins will protect you.
I fell asleep on my boogie board when I was 8 years old and drifted way offshore, I woke up to what I thought was my cousin messing around to see that I drifted out about a half mile offshore, I looked to see what pushed me nd I thought I was about to get attacked by a Shark nd I dam near fell off but then I realized it was a dolphin, it kept pushing me until I was only about 15 ft from the shore where I could stand, I got caught in the current nd I don’t know what that dolphins purpose was but if he wasn’t there I would have got pulled out nd I wouldn’t e able to fight it, he really saved me and I actually believe he knew what he was doing and he was trying to help me , these animals have senses and powers we have yet to understand.🐬🐬🐬🏄♂️🌊🌊

Its just a dolphin. they can be kind of rapey but usually pretty harmless
Note to all who aren't from the coastal areas: if you see this happening GET OUT OF THE WATER!!!! And especially GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE WATER! Sharks are feeding and it only takes a gentle brush against the skin to be cut by a fin or a random tooth. Don't take the risk just to get a closer look. You can see just fine from the beach.
