I’d bet that officer agrees with the parents now. Many, moons ago, my family went to Six Flags Over Texas. This was back in the 70’s when they had the tiered, metal slide that started about halfway up the tower. We walked up the stairs to the slide level and began grabbing our burlap bags to sit on. Mom took one look and decided to pass, so she took the purses, camera bags and everything we didn’t want to take down with us, and said she’d meet us at the bottom. We got to the bottom and Mom wasn’t there. We were looking around and we heard a screech that no human should make. We looked up at the slide, and there was Mom. She was sideways with her arms raised and her legs up in the air and there were purses, totes and camera bags in every lane!!! My sister wished she’d gotten a picture but, Mom had all the cameras! That set us into fits of laughter until Mom got to the bottom and gave us “the look” and we got quiet and started grabbing all the stuff. Something I’ll never forget! 🤣
