Sometimes parents didn’t know they were supposed to be involved in these extracurricular activities. They thought of it as sort of a hobby that you had acquired while getting an education it just didn’t occur to them. I’m sorry you felt neglected. Being a parent is difficult. It does not come with a manual and most of us do the best we can and then live with our regrets later.🌸
