This crash occurred on September 02, in 2023 for a Gender Reveal party in San Pedro, Mexico. Pilot Luis Àngel was flying his Piper PA-25 Aircraft immediately after dropping payload abruptly pulled upward with left wing apparently suffering a catastrophic Spar Failure caused uncontrollable spin, with plane crashing nearby. The severely injured 32 year old pilot was immediately transported to a local hospital but did not survive the sustained injuries. Fortunately, no secondary casualties/injuries or ground fires from isolated crash incident.
Just remember it’s 100% your fault for thinking the gender of your child requires such an extravagant reveal. The pilot died after transport to the hospital.

I dunno, it looked to me the pilot tried to peel up after dropping the water and the weight of the water dropping out was still there after the water exited the airplane. The forces still there combined with the force of the maneuver snapped the wing, the pilot pulled the maneuver too soon after dispatching the water, should , could have, kept flying and then execute the pullup and turn. There ya have it.
ALL OF THAT FOR A DUMBASS REVEAL PARTY AND THIS PEOPLE IS WHY THESE THINGS ARE DUMB AS FUCK THIS GUY AND HIS PLANE WOULD HAVE NEVER CRASHED.
The interesting thing is only one person from the ENTIRE party, realize what happened and you can see him running towards the crash.
These reveal parties are stupid, but my father owned a farm and a few times we had crop dusters do our fields. When they would reach the end of the field they would pull straight up and do basically a "hammerhead" at the end of the fields and that would put them going over the next area. Now have these planes gotten that crappy that they are unable to do that maneuver anymore, or was this something else.

The pilot survived the initial impact but later died from his injuries. What’s eerie is how the trees don’t react to the plane’s turbulence, which you’d expect at that low altitude. Might be the angle or speed, but the structural failure was catastrophic either way. These stunts keep getting more extreme, and it’s heartbreaking when celebration turns into tragedy.

For those wondering, no this is not fake, this small aircraft was not designed for the stress created by pulling maneuver, like that, this is a small crop duster that they filled with pink, I’m not sure if the but it is very likely that they survived with major injuries based off the impact of that crash, a lot of the speed was lost when it went vertical

I worked on a pilot who crashed his crop duster, he was all busted up. He did make it thank God.
This is not fake I remember when it happened not too long ago. I'm not sure if the pilot made it out alive but of course I hope he did.
My dad had a friend that owned two identical planes. Only difference was one was stressed for stunts and the other wasn’t. If he had crossed up the planes, he would have lost his wings too.

he probably did this stunt multiple times with failure to properly maintain his vehicle. all equipment that gets used should be properly maintained, that includes aircraft and vehicles. it's sad someone lost their life over this but it teaches us an important lesson about safety and maintenance
it's weird there hasn't been an aviation disaster in the US in 20 years in Philly we just had the Mexican plane crash and it's rumored that it skipped two of its last eight inspections in Mexico either due to corruption or bribes or whatever but my question is why are planes from Mexico flying in the middle of America isn't that the whole reason we have an FAA
