I did this is 1996. I found out I was adopted at 16, next day I drove to school but just kept driving. I was robbed 8 hours away from home at a truck stop in Pensacola. I had to call home collect or just panhandle n sug it and live my life. I called my stepfather. He came to get me. I am lucky to have him as a father. God bless
