The officer didn’t pick up her body action clues. It is loud and she is reacting to his commands each time as if he wants her to back up. I truly believe she was petrified and had the officer read the situation better he could have de-escalated the situation by slowing down his commands and explaining that he wanted her to face away from him with her hands in the air and then slowly walk backwards to him. He could also humanize the situation by referring to her as miss or ma’am. The emotion in his voice didn’t elicit that he was in control. When something doesn’t work, don’t repeat, try another approach. I fully back police and yes chases are dangerous situations, but every situation isn’t the same and adaptation within safety protocol can have positive results.

The officer should have the professional. His yelling shows he wasn't calm or professional . I would have driven to more lighted or crowded place.
