My great aunt and uncle both died together in February from a cop chasing a guy through a small ass town without his emergency lights on at first. The guy he was chasing had been using drugs in a long John’s parking lot. I guess someone there called on him and that’s when the cop showed up. The guy hit the cop from my understanding got in his car and began to flee. You couldn’t even see the guy in the cops dashcam video anymore when he was chasing him. He hit my aunt and uncle going every bit of 65 mph. Killed them on impact. Unless the person is a murderer, has kidnapped someone is the only time I think high speed chases. Especially through small towns is fuckin necessary
