No, revenge is necessary and not applying it will be worse for everyone. Revenge or vengeance is the action of hurting or harming someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands. If you enact proportional revenge then it’s OK. Let’s see what happened if you don’t and other people don’t: The person that wronged you will see that there is no repercusion for his evil acts. He will do it to more people and rip the rewards. He will become bolder and meaner based on the lack of response from the victims. You don’t want others to suffer like you did, I presume. You don’t have to do the same thing in return but you have to do something so that he/she is inconvenienced and feels the act in a negative way discouraging her him to continue with that behavior.
