I’ve had my current iron since 1993, when I broke the one I’d had since the mid-70’s. We also had indoor plumbing, central heat and power steering in 1978. 🤦🏼‍♀️

get a spray bottle put warm water in it and spray it on your shirt then let dry in the dryer for 5 minutes

Or just take the clothes promptly out of the dryer. You could also let the clothes hang in the bathroom while you take a steaming shower. Works quite well.
