I do my own tatts to. Looks like to small of a needle or you may not be going deep enough.
Go too heavy and it’ll look like this.

To scared to turn the machine up to puncture skin and set the ink better luck next time turn it up to about a 10
Never use the ink that comes with kits you have to buy decent ink and push hard enough but not to hard and make multiple passes wipe with wet paper towel as you go practice on fake skin or a place on your body that no one can see
Go to a shop! Don’t try to do your own work unless you’re already a tattoo artist!
You have to go way deeper in the first layer of skin

those all in one style guns have a dial in feature for the needle penetration depth. twist the area in the middle somewhere usually.. good luck and next time do a small piece to get practice or a take skin would be best
