why is everybody so excited about chickens? they've been around forever and you can see them in a bunch of towns in Florida. are they special because they're in a city and if they are they're still just chickens
The chickens are there as a result of a Blessing being put on Tampa. Back in the twenties Tampa got hit by a hurricane. Afterward, the Cuban population brought in a medicine man & put a Blessing that Tampa wouldn't have a direct hurricane hit as long as there were roosters & chickens running free in Ybor City. There hasn't been.
