This is not unusual at all. People that handle bodies often use this procedure to get bodies down stairs. I suppose over the last thirty years I’ve done it (50-69 times. It’s considered standard procedure. There’s no disrespect meant.

happened on a lot in the apartment I'm in live old folks around here are dropping like flies cuz I can't afford their food anymore so they starve to death around here oh wait a minute they were supposed to go out and get a job right yeah try getting an 80 year old woman who walks with a walker to get a job.

That was the Coroner's dept. Somebody must have died in their apartment! Sometimes people don't know until the smell a strong pungent smell of something dead. The worst type to find are bodies that's been dead for days, as the body swells and should be moved with care. One wrong move and the gases in the body erupts and the body explodes! Maggots and everything coming falling out and a smell so horrible that will clear an entire building for days! 🤢🤮😷😷

I get it might not be meant to be disrespectful.. However, it really is😒. Gurneys are made to elevate the body and reduce stress of the person's handling the deceased individual. This would haunt me to no ends if this were any member of my family. When my mom passed, they carried her out in their arms🥺

lol, one time at Halloween party in about 10 degree weather at my duplex guys went to get more beer and came back with a rolled up carpet and went straight to my room. I went to see what the f they were doing and they rolled out an unconscious woman in short shorts, go go boots and a bra w tassels. Turns out her boyfriend (pimp) pistol whipped her in freezing temps and left her out to die. Anyways she was saved and police or emts took her and our party carried on.

My question couldn't they have place the deceased person in their carry out chair and tightly strapped the body covered up tight and use the elevation.? Unless the body was worst off and no other choice but to wrap like a mummy tightly so nothing hangs out.? I would ask my nephew but he's no longer alive to tell me how or what was next procedure. He handle those from nursing homes so it wasn't that bad he once told me.
