Crazy to see an athlete with all that jewelry all those nails, and all that hair. I remember we weren’t allowed to wear jewelry on the track field. Things have changed in the last 20 years

I used to run TRACK in high school. We were too focused on winning. If we had long hair, it would be placed in a ponytail because of it hitting you in the face. It's also too heavy. Definitely wouldn't wear jewelry because it would be a distraction bouncing against your neck or the bracelets slapping your wrist or may even hit the baton in relays. You're a pretty girl. Flo Jo started this trend. It did get her some fame. It got her on the Bob Hope show.
