they don't teach kids I work with some 18 year olds that don't no how to spell or write 1/4 lb and don't talk about cursive they think it swearing
Mother of seven here, and education starts at HOME and should work in CONJUNCTION with their schooling! You want smart kids? be an ACTIVE parent in your child's education!
The schools don't even teach reading writing and arithmetic anymore.

School system sucks! My great-granddaughter is 8, failed 1st grade & passed it this year to second grade when they go by back in August. They sent her a list of 100 words for the parents to teach them to spell over the Summer! What the heck are they being paid for!?! God help us! What are teachers being given a job for? Are they not qualified to teach? 🤬

The girl knew everything because the father taught her also she was his child the boys were only his half children he was never given respect by none other than his daughter and she was the only one to succeed of the three children respect and consistency are what makes a whole thriving human

Home schooling does not necessarily mean the parents are teaching them. It means the parents are monitoring what they are learning. They can learn on line, from actual books from the library, from mentors, and on field trips.
This is so true!! I saw a teacher speaking earnestly about his 7th grade class. He said they can't read or write spell or comprehend a short story. Our enemy had really done a good job!!🙏
Not sure what schools yall kids go to, but at my son's school, they teach all that. Kids remembering it is another thing. Most kids should not be home schooled.
my daughter knows the Constitution and the Bill of Rights I've had to teach her myself because of schools don't teach it why are we paying for schools if they're not teaching the basic rights of what you need to know here in the United States your rights are more important than life because without your rights you have a no life you will become a slave and to be honest with you that's what the government's intending to do to the people that's why they quit doing the pledge allegiance that's why they quit teaching the Constitution and quit teaching cursive because if you don't know how to read cursive or write curse if you won't be able to read the Constitution or the Bill of Rights

Show me a homeschooled kid that knows what the bill of rights is at 8. I get the point but this is equally as wrong in the other direction!

what's crazy to me is anyone's ever have their kid come home who knew how to do their homework not just my kids everyone I know with kids face this same problem you got like 2 hours to get them to do homework cook get the kids bathed and to bed but yet every single time a kid brings homework home they have no idea what to do so in that lil bitty not a 8 to 9 hour window time frame you teach your child how to do their homework that those teachers have 8 to 9 hours a day to do so getting paid 60k a year double what most make at average jobs but you gotta buy the classes extra supplies and school fees plus they get either 4 months Vacation or the option to go work another job for 4 months roughly another 15k right there all so they can ha f your kid a paper or a tablet expect them to teach themselves how to do the work
So the only way Conservatives can find an example proving their point is with fiction?
