The courts need to establish paternity thru DNA testing BEFORE issuing child support orders or sending anyone to prison for back child support. They shouldn't rely on just the testimony of the mother. There was a man on Paternity Court who spent 5 YEARS in prison for a child that wasn't his. The mother should have been required to pay him restitution for the time he spent incarcerated. Maybe this will deter women from falsely accusing men of paternity just to collect child support.
There should be punishment for false paternity. These nasty women know they are promiscuous, but give the name of a man they know good and well he isn't the father.

This is so wrong, it happens so much. DNA should be mandatory before the baby leaves the hospital. I feel bad for this man and all the others that this has happened too. These women who don't know who the baby daddy is should keep their legs closed.

She said she told him the child might be his. The young man's mother had paperwork showing the young lady never appeared in court also! So, how was court-ordered child support mandated?? Neither appeared!!
