I was this kid in school
Mrs. Ashman.. my 8th grade teacher. I lost my grandma and didn’t know how to cope. I tried to act like everything was okay and normal. We went on a field trip and I heard a song playing from a car.. it was her favorite song. The sound I let out on that bus scared everyone. That woman held me and just let me cry. She didn’t know why, yet, but she just held me. After I calmed down and spoke to her, I let her know about my grandma and she put her hand over my head and prayed. On the bus!!!!! The kids bowed their heads and remained silent! This was in the Bronx in 2000. My teacher prayed for my healing and understanding. The kids even showed compassion. She asked me if I was okay every single day after that. That woman stayed in my heart after all of these years. Thank you Mrs. Ashman!
when i was in highschool in the bronx we had a teacher that looked out for his students like this, his name was Mr. Levin. sadly he was killed by one of his own students he had helped. It happened in the bx, look up the story. The school i went to used to be Taft high, and they changed the school name to Jonathan Levin high

My 17-year-old son had a friend who smelled, and his shoes had holes in the soles. When his feet got wet, they smelled horrible. We lived in the same apartment complex. We were getting ready to move, and my son said he wanted to give him the clothes he couldn't wear anymore. He gave him about two 30-gallon bags full of clothes and shoes. He was so happy. My youngest daughter went to Walmart and bought him hygiene products, new shoes, underwear, and socks. He cried because he had some new, nice stuff. My 18-year-old son was friends with the boy's older brother, and he did the same thing for him. My youngest daughter bought him hygiene products too because his arms smelled really bad. They were caught stealing food from Walmart and got banned. We fed them too. Their little sisters smelled too and were bullied at school. They went to school with my granddaughter. They didn't have friends, other than my kids.

I was this kid, I grew up very poor no food, running water, electricity in elementary school the teachers would get me and my siblings out of class we had our own shower our own towels there and toothbrushes. To the school who cared I’ll never forget that.

People are like this all over the world and especially at Church! To judge and assault instead of help! I gotten kicked out of dozens of Churches cussing people out for that same thing that girl did to that boy! In their Bible it says COME AS YOU ARE! That's BS! They always sat respect the Lord and wear the right clothes as well as hygienes! Going to Church with the biggest hat ain't NOTHING BUT A FASHION SHOW! I there everyone who goes to Church to test that theory by having 1 of your friends come to that Church not wearing the right attire! I seen a homeless man take clothes out of the donation container putting on a shirt with a Rap Group Pic and was told to leave and change! So stop pretending you are your God is so Holy!
I remembered when I used to get bullied like that. It was hard! My clothes came from the second hand store and my shoes were like $5 or $10 Dollars. I don't take nothing for granted.

I thank God that I didn't get bullied in school I would literally beat up the bullies that be on the little kids because they was too scared to defend for their self so I will do it and you can call me a bully I don't care but I wouldn't let a bully beat on little kids but beat on someone smaller than you that was just me
I lived this scene. I put soap, towels, toothbrush , toothpaste, deodorant and clean clothes in a locker for a young man. It changed his school experience.

I had a 4th grade teacher back in the 70s who I never forgot she helped out my best friend back then with food and clothes to eat and wear it never forgot her kindness rip she was my role model from then on
My Mother took a lot of Families food from our garden, made Soap, Jam and took in Children until their parents returned from wherever. When she passed away!! All of the kids that she helped returned to say Goodbye. The funeral session was so long that the train stopped to allow us to pass on to the grave site 🙏. My Parents were POOR!! "We didn't know it". I lived on a Farm. 🙏
Mrs. Murray was that teacher. She looked out for underprivileged kids such as myself. My God continue to bless her for the rest of her days 🙏🏼

The mom and dad were always high and fighting. Someone called DSS on them and the 7 kids were taken from them. They moved to NY with their aunt. They still video call us and talk to us. I cut the older brother's hair and he almost cried. It was so sad. My kids realized then how good they have it.
