okay you were born in the '80s that means you were 10 years old when I was born in the 90s I wasn't allowed to do none of that stuff because the older kids aka the '80s generation was being bullies or being bad boys all we're doing stuff that they were not supposed to do that means that I wasn't allowed to go out because of everybody who was 10 years and older so thank you 😊
2025 isn't so bad. I mean, back then we pretended to be dinosaurs and all kinds of other shit. Now, we really can be those things and people have to accept it as real.
I thank God I had a 90s childhood life. last good decade with friends before tech took over. 😢 1991-1999 😢 mostly remember in 97 when my ma tried to cut off my step dad's dingling so it was a incredible decade

I'll take the 90s and early 2000s over that shit anyway. I got to watch the world grow, got to see technology rise, I got to see love and respect all around me...yeah you can keep the 80s lmfao
Technology and those responsible for its invention, have experimented on the Human Race ! And like Dr. Frankenstein, unsure of its effect on the Human Animal, but driven by the almighty Dollar, refuse to remit, regardless the detrimental effects ! The U.S. likely the worst, as Europe treats their technology and how it is employed much differently ! With so much madness in our current World, is there a possibility that these Cell devices that people can't seem to live without, could instead be said that they can't live with ? What is it that drives this insanity in 2025, and the years before ? But much like people that smoke and use Tobacco products, even after shown proof of it's Cancer causing elements, refuse to quit ! My guess is the Generations moving forward, will accept the risks that Technology may bring, and accept it as their norm, being born into the evolutionary madness, just as those born decades before, felt comfortable with the things we grew up with !

I've missed it so much!I feel bad for the kids these days. they will never know what it's like to free range daylight to dark. having that one neighbor at the end of the block that already had 8 kids (the Robacks in my neighborhood) so that's where we all hung out. Friday and Saturday nights each of her kids had one or two friends spend the night. it was crazy. Saturday mornings you were on your own but Sunday mornings she would ask each kid what they wanted for breakfast and you couldn't say it doesn't matter, you had to tell her what you wanted. pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, sunny side up eggs, 8 different kinds of cereal, sausage, bacon, ham, steak, bagels, English muffins, it was like waking up in a Denny's. and since it was Sunday the rest of the day, until dark, was for her and her husband. so finished your breakfast then you had to get out of the house. you didn't have to go. home, but you couldn't stay there.
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. Don't OD.

I was born in 2010, I'm 14, I would go out in the morning and stay out all day, still do but now I have a tracker on my phone and have to tell my parents where I am going, my mom is way less strict than my dad, I go out more often at her house. however, I wish I grew up back then, seems wayy more fun,

im 38, and I miss no phones walking to see if your friend is home. There was a number to call for the time every kid knew when the street lights came on. You get your ass home. we played hide and seek pinecone war built tree houses ahhh memories

shit! im staying. grew up in the 80s. the best time to be a kid. btw, we didnt need helmets, didnt need warning labels on anything but mr yukk, riding in the back of pickup trucks on highways, our caetoons were the best, 100s of music bands. last generation of real tough folks that also never got offended by a joke or comment
born in 67 so I have to say growing up in the 70-80's was the best.
AI will take us over. it will find what we missed and loved at one time like this. all I can say is I enjoyed those memories and yes I would love to relive them but I got to live them at least once and I get to watch my grandchildren live them again
I am an 80s baby. I was born in 81 but everybody’s parents were letting them do whatever they wanted by the age of six or seven. I was allowed to walk to my friends house 3 miles away passed a crappy part of town. Everybody’s parents were like that just about. All we did was play sports all day or go exploring. And it’s true about hose water. It was delicious.

in the 60s at age 12ish we would ride the commuter trail into the City run around all day, commute back and still be home befor dinner. Never Asked, Never Told.
Watching this made me so melancholy. I was born in 1970, so in 1980 I was 10 yrs old. So my teen years were the 80s. We had the best of everything. But nothing can ever beat the music that was made in the 80s!!
