Honestly, I have always been a Will Smith fan, but in that moment he showed me (us) who he truly is and I have never been able to look at him the same again. He should have been taken out in handcuffs that night...

What I noticed immediately was Smith smiling with a chuckle when Chris first made the joke. Then Smith saw the look on his wife's face and changed from Jeckle🙂 to Hyde👹... real quick! He suddenly felt the need to defend his wife's honor. Later on, Denzel Washington made some quote defending Smith. I lost a little respect for him as well. And from everything I've heard since this incident. Chris Rock had no idea Pinket was suffering from alopecia. His joke was only aimed at the fact that she had cut her hair short. Chris Rock clearly showed who the bigger man was that night!!

Sometimes people go too far with comedy and in this case Chris Rock did just that. I can understand Will’s anger in this situation but there is a better way to deal with it than to go up and smack him like he did. I don’t believe Chris meant any harm but what he said but also think he shouldn’t have gone that far. Will should’ve waited until after the show to confront Chris. That would’ve given him time to cool down and the situation could’ve been dealt with in a verbal manner.
