if he was getting electrically shocked how was he able to say anything at all usually your voice box is frozen because of the electricity

My Grandfather worked construction, & drove a Caterpillar. One day, he saw a fellow worker, who was standing in a small puddle of water, but looked like he was being electrocuted. My Grandfather hopped out, & grabbed a piece of wood, I believe it was a 2×4, & hit the dude hard enough that he fell away from the puddle. Turns out, there was some "Live Electrical Wires or Cables", that had gotten pierced, & was electrocuting that worker. So, my Grandfather potentially saved that workers life. That worker thanked him many times. And, Luckily, the Hit from the 2×4, didn't do any real damage to the guy, only saved his life. I don't think I would've complained, even if it had broken my arm. A broken arm would be far better than dying. I sure miss my Grandfather. He Died when I was 10.
