The 49ers with all of its star talent have the worst injury history the past 2 seasons. Purdy was practically the only starter on offense to play consistently all last season. I literally watched games where every star player on both sides of the ball were missing for the Niners. Go see how well Jalen Hurts or Mahomes play when you remove their go to guys out the lineup. I promise you it's not impressive. Mahomes has dealt w injuries in KC and puts up pedestrian numbers. Nowhere close to his MVP level. Injuries are part of the game, but this is ridiculous in SF. Hell, it seems a lot of the star players are already hurt this season. Purdy is dealing with turf toe. Luckily they have Mac playing at a high level. I won't dog Purdy out for finally getting paid either. He deserved that money after making 1/10 of everyone else around him for 3-4 seasons. The guy has roommates to save money while taking his team to the SB. 🤔.
