The prisons are like one big happy family. no bills no worries free everything while.....the family outside are struggling, stressing, to feed shelter clothe work pay bills. This is a JOKE! send these prisoners to HARD LABOR CAMP man! Out of the Country depending on their Crime. Not a vacation day in and day out, slapping eachother five, and playing basketball, and ards, games, watching TV etc etc. Do something productive with them. Clean up the highways, everyday. not once a week. clean gutters. pick up trash in the streets. This is too soft for a crime committed. it's like the in oven family COMMITTED the crimes!
I'm old enough to remember the Alabama and Mississippi chain gangs. This was a form of punishment, hard Labor for serious offense. It was also a detergent for repeat offenders . Then the criminals were successful in getting hard Labor removed from sentencing by suing by saying it was a form of modern slavery.
1. Death penalty for rapist. 2. Murder, gets Death within 2 months 3. Child molestation, get a sentence of being a human lab rat for big pharma. 4. Drug dealers, get a choice ( Death or lab rat ). 5. Gang members that's sentenced get a choice: front lines in Ukraine or lab rat ). 6. Single mothers caught in a felony get sentenced to ( prison college), she will clean up learn a trade or skill get a job before release, get her kids back. 7. Homeless, if you get caught sleeping on city property, mandatory get straight program including detox if you are that type. detox is 3 to 4 years. including education. If that doesn't work then mandatory America's beautiful cation program.

Growing up I asked why they keep going back in.? Free insurance 3 Free meals Free gym membership Free bedding Free shelter Free education Free meds Free dental Free doctor visits And they become like a family.
I went to jail with a 20 year sentence when I was 14 years old and I came when I turned 35 and now I’m 37 and trying to figure out how I can get my life together and just keening home a year and some months feel amazing even though I don’t have everything I need I still wouldn’t change being free because in jail you are treated like a dog and if you have ever been to a dog kennel that’s how prison feel

My brother works at Rickers in New York and he sees a lot of repeat offenders . As well as our county jail , a guy I dated said criminals will do petty shit to be housed for the winter 🤦🏻♀️
My sister and I are currently full time living with a friends 76 year old mother with dementia because he was an idiot and got a 3 year prison sentence. He has around 16 months to go. The thing is, he is in there just hanging out, with no responsibilities. Spends his days drawing and hanging out with buddies, using his prison issued tablet to call and text. We spend our days tending to his mother who has lost all control of her bodily functions. He is going to have a HUGE wakeup call when he gets home next year...assuming his mom is still alive. It's not easy taking care of someone with dementia/Alzheimers, and can be very frustrating at times. But he has been my best friend since 1989 and I wasn't going to see his mom lose her home and end up in a rest home over his stupid mistakes!

went i went in the food I had was better than the outside. worked out with the Mexicans got tv time read books and woke up to the buzz. got in line with my id got my food. life was simple. if I was in for a long bid I would've deffinetly been institutionalized. if your not down on bad charges just mind your bussiness dont be a punk and you'll be fine. luckily I found God again and life's been great. wife family house kids picket fence yah its good

prison aint easy or fun but u try to make the best of the situations same as uptown ...and its work in prison,school,who u think cook and clean , make you think prison so sweet and easy go .for a month maybe. a week

they should make it mandatory for the prison system and the inmate while locked up to get schooling and job skills or diploma and for the ones that get certified clear their record for job search reasons. alot of the return to prison is they can't get a job so they have to break the law to eat .I know some don't want to work and depend on others or don't want better for them self. The ones that do try can't get a job cause their background. I'm not on here to bicker or argue with anyone just saying what I see every day .I don't know what they can and can't do in jail. I have never spent more than a hour in jail .
