Don’t know how you could make a mistake of this magnitude—$60 EACH!! But never offer to pay for everyone and collect later. This never works out.

the first mistake you made was to offer to pay for it all up front and then divide it up and tell everyone how much they each owe But ten people in the bridal party is insane Second thing is a mistake is five or ten dollars but sixty dollars that looks like you were ripping them off How many times did you actually add it all up and then divide it only once is what it sounds like that's a six hundred dollars mistake in construction we have a rule you measure twice and cut once Also someone was whispering in the brides ear probably saying that everyone would be uncomfortable with you there and it's whoever she made maid of honor Money destroys more relationships between friends all the time as maid of honor your intentions were good but you blew it up by not double and even triple checking your math Your story is nothing new but by putting it out there it will serve as a reminder to people to keep their credit card in their wallet and never offer to become the bank
