the black woman done exactly what she was supposed to do she got the flight attendant they tried to rectify the situation and I applaud them for being calm in the whole situation but the woman was in the wrong if you want a window seat you need to purchase a window seat when you purchase your ticket don't just assume that you can take that seat

Me and my wife had the same thing happened to us in first class. The white woman that took my wife’s seat thought that that seat was going to remain empty. When we showed up at our aisle, she was asked to move, she was not in first class at all. She moved to the back of the airplane where she belonged.😆😆😆

The same thing happened to me on Southwest Airlines when I told the lady she was in my seat . She was in her 20s. I’m in my 50s. She stood up for me to pass. There was not enough room. Then she jumped ninja style into the middle seat. She started a nudging my left arm. I asked her to quit hitting me then she started screaming. Long story short, they escorted her off the plane then some unidentified woman approached me hollering at me and I hollered back telling her you don’t know the situation you sit down because I was just assaulted. they escorted me b Off because unidentified woman felt disrespected, she should have identified herself. They try to put us on another flight together. I told them to send me home because I was there to watch the football game that morning. I found a complaint and they gave me a free $75 for all the pain suffering in the headache they induced. 🤦♀️🤦♀️😢😭😢😢

I totally understand as it happened to me. A white man tried to take my window seat. He asked me to take his assigned seat in the next row. I told him "no, that is not my assigned seat." He started to give me back talk, but I held my own and was polite... No yelling, just reminded him, he was in the wrong seat. He finally moved. I think he was embarrassed because folks were looking at him. He thought I was going to give up my seat...not! Some folks feel so entitled. The flight attendant never intervened, but was monitoring the situation and winked at me after I got my seat.
And to add to my little talk, I now block all who do this. Everyone should. That would make them stop this ignorance.
They dont have to say the color of the other person because we know who feels entitled to everything because of it.
