Yes sir, you did exactly the right thing.because I had a cashier at Winn-Dixie in Louisiana and she was making all kinds of racial slurs. So I returned 400+ dollars worth of groceries and went somewhere else and bought my stuff. The manager was so mad.
This happened to me at a Kohl's . Shopped there for over 15 years. They got a new Loss prevention guy that accused me of stealing. Police checked the cameras. They never saw what he lied about. Me putting two items in my back pocket. He was fired the next day.
