The motor should have been off as soon as they hit the whale. they shouldn't have been harassing the whale and forcing it up against the sandbar, effectively trapping it and causing the entire debacle. The owner and operator of that boat should be charged and imprisoned. obviously nobody on the boat knows anything about them, wildlife or being on the water, or the rules and laws we have that protect animals from this type of criminal behavior from humans.
