Hey, after reading quite a few comments on here, there seem to be a lot of potential women beaters and controlling men exposing their deep hatred for women that they love(?).🤔
Well if he's mad, it was likely HIS MONEY right? He kept harassing bc he likely bought the home too, and you had him arrested, then expected to keep the house and all the money in the bank account. Marital assets get split at best, unless she ACTUALLY spent that money on hotels or a new apt first/last to get the hell outta there, it was just theft. I used to work at a DV shelter as a women's advocate, believe me when I say ITS NOT ALWAYS HIM .. and men suffer from DV every damn day in this country and nobody ever wants to talk about it. He didn't spend all that marrying you and starting a life to be a dickhead. There's two sides to the story here for sure.

OMG 🥺 It's really insane the switch that people have. I married a man years ago who was great .. at first! He brutalized me and that last time he nearly took my life. He got 3 years!! I recovered, took a ton of classes and counseling sessions. We were toxic for one another and even though I didn't deserve what he gave me there were times where I also didn't behave correctly which when you get tired of being hit you hit back. Not a good situation. I ended up meeting a good man and have a family now. We've been together almost 12 years now. If it's not a healthy relationship please do your best to get the help to safely leave!
