For those asking why he didn’t call for a police escort or an ambulance, let’s consider this: as someone in the medical field, I’ve seen many people rush to the ER out of fear and a desire to seek help quickly. In this situation, the officer could have shown compassion by allowing him to stop the car, verifying the child’s condition, and then escorting him to the hospital. By doing so, we can create a safer and more supportive community for everyone, not just for some!! That man was ordered to get out of his car with his hands up, he was afraid and panic. Obviously still nervous and afraid, he was faced with stopping that rolling car or being shot to death! That rolling car could have injured or killed not only his child but somebody else. His actions (the cop) demonstrate a blatant racism, obvious disregard for safety and well-being.
I was faced with a situation like this in SanDiego. My daughter stopped breathing in my arms while having an asthma attack. I told my husband to get us to Children’s Hospital as fast as he could. He was speeding so the Police got behind us with lights on. I was yelling at him you better not Stop. He stopped anyway. I started beating on him, yelling my baby can’t breathe. When the police got to the car, they immediately started to try and handcuff me. I was kicking, biting, screaming my daughter has asthma she can’t breathe. They just kept trying to get me handcuffed in the middle of the 15 freeway. Meanwhile no one was trying to render aid to my baby. Within minutes a Sergeant arrived. He asked: How long have we been waiting on the Paramedics? They said about 8 mins. He yelled at them an told them to unshackle me. He grabbed my baby, told me to get in his car. Put my baby in the back seat with me. And rushed us to the Hospital. My reaction & the Sergeant reaction saved my baby.
He wasn't running in order to avoid the police he was trying to stop his rolling car with his children inside .
my kids come first I will protect them at all costs even if it takes my own life I will protect my children always
if his kids are in the car and he was trying to get his daughter to the hospital, you get Rescue to respond or give him an escort. That is what I would have done ....I was an officer until I retired.
The Police had to many Donuts 🍩 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

hell no I keep running😅😅
need better training and better mental testing to become cops🥺
if he was white, it would've been totally different
I wanna find out the rules what’s going on with the story? What’s the update?

dumb as police
says man left yet was told to leave it by cop who obviously don't got good judgement skills😂😭
Idiot police officers. Car is moving without driver can cause a bad accident 😳
dial 911 keep going to the hospital. Always preserve life first. Deal with the consequences later
now days I'm glad he stop.running because next pow pow pow for real
“Put it in park”
the police definitely needs better understanding...they have kid's and family too that needs special attention 😳😳😳😳
instead of helping right away they would rather stop the man from helping his children
😳😳😳😳😳
