Retired officer here.. Served 27 years in Law Enforcement and the cop in this video is exactly what’s wrong with the country today. It appears he’s got little man syndrome and will abuse his powers if he doesn’t like what you say or do.. I seriously hope he got reprimanded

When you know you're in the right, just take the ticket and explain to the judge what happened. The judge can pull a video from the officer to see what happened. 99% of the time when you're in the right, the judge will drop the charges. You don't even need a lawyer in traffic court. I've had a dozen cases dropped like that, and I've been legally driving since 1999.
It is considered protected speech by the first amendment. There is case law supporting it.
