Where I live, if you don't have a handicapped plate or placard, you get a ticket and are towed.
I would of blocked them in and called for law inforcement. $550 fine in my town
My mother could not walk far. I would only use her handicap card when she was with me. One time, we were out to eat, and yes, I parked in a handicap spot. During dinner, I had to go get her jacket. A lady cornered me in the parking lot, calling me a fake, among other things. I was so embarrassed. But life goes on, and I continued to take my mother out and about town and used her sign. To sit at home and not enjoy life was not an option.
I've called the police once when I saw a car load of young able bodied women take a handicapped parking spot without a handicapped tag and no handicapped placard, plus they were all laughing their asses off talking about how they took the spot without being handicapped!!!! They were towed away, they deserved it!!!!!!!!!!
I can't put in print what I would say to the couple. or do to their care. My husband has several disabilities. He can drive, but walking far is impossible. they need security watching lots. and having them ticketed ot towed.

I'm a disabled veteran I get this all the time that's why I have a big four wheel drive diesel power truck connect to change to the front of their car tow them out I used to do it with a flatbed

That was cute you see she was parking there. Shouldn’t have done that I have seen people get hurt behind taking someone parking space. You lucky it was her . It’s not worth doing that.
I can tell you from experience it is so hard to find a handicap parking space because most of the time they are taken up by people who are "just running in for a second". I drive around for 10 minutes waiting for them to come out and usually end up having to park in a regular parking spot or I just give up and go home.

Amazing. Someone is always there ready to record these "teach a lesson" videos. They do get a message across, but I'm sick of the deception that someone "caught" it just as it was happening. A few do happen that way, but most are planned.
