To protect officers and the public . I think that the officers in all of law enforcement should be required to take classes for better understanding of our Constitution. This should also go for all politicians as well . They all should know the Constitution is for them also.

should already know when you take courses POST before getting additional training it is assumed you know the US Constitution before being a cop . Most people do not even know the constitution, including me, but I know more of it than an average college educated person. this is why additional training as friends in law enforcement tell me most are ignorant in the application of the laws they enforce. they lack the training necessary to "Serve and Protect". it is a combination of things for bad cops. Like ICE if you give them a bonus of 50 000 dollars what is incentive to hire the right person for the job like noem?....
