This isn’t short changing. This is flat out theft. The guy put ten on the counter, the cashier leaves the ten on the counter grabs ten from the register and hands the ten to the guy who also takes the ten off of the counter at the same time then he begins to walk away only to turn around and asks for twenty by giving his ten and the ten the cashier handed him and the cashier give him twenty. The register is now short ten due to the deceitful actions of the guy asking for change, but fortunately this is all scripted in order to create content.

There was a convenience store here where I live in Williamsport Pa. It was opened and ran(both keywords being WAS) by someone from Pakastan or one of them foreign countries. I was standing in line, the guy in line in front of me asked the cashier, which was also the owner of the store for $5 in quarters. The owner not knowing that we had gold silver dollars that are close in size to a quarter gave him 20 of them thinking they were quarters.

I went into a Bodega in South San Francisco years ago and bought a apple,water 2 bear claws and a pack of cheap cigarettes. I figured I'd get 1.40 in change, from a 20. I get up to the register and the man rings it up. I lay down my 20. Damn if he didn't hand me the 18.60 bag up the goods and looks behind me and yells "next"! my 20 was laying on the counter. The next customer grabs my 20 shoves it in my hand and pushes me towards the door. To this day I don't know what the eff happened. Other than that I doubled up my cash and got the sack of goods for free.
