The problem with the juvenile judicial system is that there are so many bleeding heart judges out there that cave in to the kids instead of holding them responsible for their actions. We need more judges like this one.

I tried to teach my oldest son to do the right thing and do good. He wanted to be a gangster and not want to get his life together. At the age of 17 he was sentenced to 6 yrs in prison. He currently has 3 more years to serve. Listen to your mom man she's only trying to help you. Ain't none of your friend's gonna help you when you get locked up or give you a place to lay your head at night.
I would have an ankle monitor put on him and curfew would be 8 at night everyday and he would only be allowed to go out two times a week give him a little bit of taste of prison and he'll straighten up hopefully

This is why he's getting in trouble. Why is she giving him an option. He clearly hasn't graduated high school. Sundays-Thursdays should be 6pm curfew, Fridays and Saturdays should be 8:30 with an ankle monitor, no drinking or smoking, and have at least a GPA of 3.0 at the end of the school year. The judge said anything you want. He'll be back in there in 3-6 months.
