I had this happened to me and Ottawa, Illinois by part-time police officer who was in Walmart off duty he would not give me his name or his badge number. I finally got his name out of him Threatened that he was going to arrest me. Because my daughter took off in Walmart when I found her which the whole store was looking for her, I yelled at her and told her if she ever left me again she was going to get a spanking, came to me and told me that he was going to arrest me for threatening my child, I literally got his name found out. He was a part-time cop in grand Ridge Illinois. He was put on suspension because he had no right to do what he did to me so anytime someone says that they are with the law enforcement always getting name and a and make sure that you get a copy of it on your phone

I would get the plate number of the vehicle as well and called the local FBI Office as there is one in Bedford NH to verify these two schmucks plus along with their badges they should have their ID around their neck if they are on routine investigating as well as vests unless not to be conspicuous.. Also I could have told them that I could carry fake badges too as it doesn't prove anything without proper identification which you can call to verify
