They shot this man 9 times, at least one of those in his back. He did not survive. They got his heart, lungs, liver, thigh, buttocks, etc. He was 28, with 3 kids, named Trae Spurlock, 26 years old, retired Army Sergeant.The officer who shot him was put on paid administrative leave, and after investigation, no criminal charges were brought against him.

I'm a combat veteran myself and this is such a sad story. we need more programs and help than they are giving us. our country sent us to war and then just stick us right back into civilian life and unless you figure it out for yourself your kind of on your own....the amount of training we got BEFORE. and then they just basically say good luck once you decide to get out. this is a sad sad outcome for someone who sacrificed a lot for their country....
context: cops were called because he was allegedly pushing his girlfriend around and wouldn't let her in the house, she called them quite literally just so she could grab her clothes and leave. buddy here was sitting in the balcony with a rifle refusing to come inside. that's what lead to this point.
Read the article he was shot 9 times including 2 times in the left eye , heart, left side, fore arm, abdomen, back , thigh & buttocks. So sad 😔 Pray for his family especially his children.

There’s a lot of times death by a cop was unnecessary but he literally threatened that he had the gun behind him and then reached for it. Saying that infront of a cop is practically asking for it and as a veteran he should know that, I do think cops should be trained to aim at the legs or somewhere less likely to cause death but still effective in getting the threat to like stop moving you know? This could have been avoided but at the same time it was expected because of how he was acting not to mention talking about “my gun is only three feet behind me”
