I went shopping yesterday what an inconvenience many things locked up you have to have someone get the product for you & they have to bring it to a cashier then u have to play find the cashier who has the product so u can pay for it game. Insurance doesn't pay for theft. If that were true, everyone could steal and every company would get reimbursed for the theft. The prices go up or the store goes out of business. That's usually what happens.

I get the whole it's not your store & definitely agree that it's not necessarily safe-it could go left, real quick; thief could pull something the worker can't 'match'. But, I feel the manager! She's probably tired of these trifflin asses stealin like she's not standing right there! These thieves know the police don't make this a priority (in some larger areas) & that the workers are told not to intervene. These fools are in there like they're back to school shopping, not hiding their faces and just walking out! 🤬🙄 Stores need to invest in gates that close fast & lock them in til police arrive, have sensors on items that if stolen deliver a shock that renders the person briefly 'incapacitated', embed gps in tags so police can roll up on them, embed items with something that delivers a 'harmless' injectable that requires medical attn. I'm even down for low-level electric shock. Something!!! As long as the odds of innocents being injured is minimal & easily controlled, I'm for it!
