The situation needs some corrections. The child, being too young to know, is holding the puppy in very uncomfortable way. The poor pup looks like it's life is being squeezed right out of it. The puppy is neither happy nor comfortable. It would be a sad shame if the child were to drop the puppy. Mom, being the adult, should be teaching her daughter the correct way to handle a puppy that is only a few weeks old. I feel badly for the puppy because it's the puppy that will suffer if the child should happen to drop it. A very sad state of affairs, IMHO.
