Service dogs should not be in the cart or barking. My husband has a service dog. He’s never barked in the store not even at another dog. The dog should not be in the cart for sanitary purposes. Even with service dogs, owners should be respectful of others.

My last duty station was in Germany you see dogs in stores , restaurants ect. They are family. And they act better than some people.
Unless it's Petsmart or Petco Dogs are allowed any other stores the dog stays outside unless it's a service animal which is not a call to the health department will get any store fined for that.

Too many lazy people started taking advantage of this trend of abusing this law, and it's the stores fault for being too laxed and lazy on their rules . Enforce the rules when it comes to service animals only and quit allowing others to break it.
