I see the Canadians donated two planes you just fly down on the water and pick the water and just scoops the water right in and takes off again and then goes drops it off on the fire, the thing is one of them hit a drone on their wing so that one's out of commission until they get that fixed, so the people that have drones down there in LA should keep them out of the sky if it's near any fire choppers with them retardant planes course in my opinion!!!!!
looked like it may have dropped a little soon but I'm not a fire fighter in a plane but what a job to have pretty dang scary..

They will drop it directly on a fire if there’s an imminent threat to life, otherwise they dropin front of the fire, forming a firebreak.

They drop the fire retardant in front of the fire to prevent fire from spreading. The retardant is not dropped directly on top of the fire. This looks like a training drop.
