Windmills are the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars besides government employees. How do I know that, I'm in the windmill industry. I see the cost of the blades from China, the tower sections from China and the machine heads (generators) from South Korea. I see the amount of concrete and steel for the bases. I see the hauling them from the various ports, Corpus Christi, Houston, Galveston, Santa Teresa, San Diego, Longbeach, etc, etc. But the companies that put these projects together make incredibly tax writeoffs and carbon credits that any company would want to apply for and receive!
Even though they don’t work! It takes a lot of guts to do that job ! Come on girls,a woman can do anything a man can do right and the pay is great 👍🏼 come on ladies let’s see you doing that job !!! We’re waiting 😆😆😆👍🏼
will never produce as much energy as it took to make it.
working on water towers sandblasting ,and painting was enough for me !
you better be making over $160,000 a year if you're going to be hanging around that high
Doesn't look safe! Just read about a worker who got killed cleaning a giant meat grinder at a burrito factory fell into it and it turned on! I couldn't do either job! Self-preservation won't allow it!!
wow he or she is not afraid of heights.!! wow what a job.
we have them in Iowa , & all the power goes somewhere else , thought they were put up to help our electricity bills...not
👁️👁️💥 🦅🦉🐦🦇 Bird and Bat blenders... Y'all did you know that these Wind mills are made with extremely toxic material and they can be recycled. They need to be buried unground, Wind mills last only 10 years, then discarded .
I love to see how he gets the bottle ones .swing him out there
he's not connected to the crane. isn't he supposed to
Excuse me but I don't think your OSHA cert is up to date. Really tied off to the latch with a 50lb steel weight hanging above your head.
Yes, we’re a land of Chinese goods packed in a suburb warehouse!! we don’t make anything anymore!!
They've turned scenic landscapes into a dystopia. During the life of one of these, it won't generate anywhere near the energy it takes to build, transport, install, and maintain it.
Hell where I work they won't let you tie off to a crane but they tell you to get the job done no matter what! But if a salary person happens upon your job they fire you for not following company policies? Imagine that! 😵💫🇺🇸🗽
No need for fossil fuels to lubricate that turbine, said Noone. That's an easy way to change out the 80 gallons of oil tucked inside that turbine head. Green and Clean, my ass.
I live in indiana, and my county, Benton was the first one in the state, do you know that we don't even get the power that they generate, it goes to New York, that's a ripoff how come we can't get to access to it?🤔🤬
The green scam
yearly oil change that fills a swimming pool and is dumped into the ocean... but green energy yeah
Ugliest view of once a beautiful landscape & ocean view
It's been shown, that these windmills, or turbines do not create enough energy to really be profitable. That's what I've read. They're also quite dangerous, if you saw that video, of the two young men, workers, who were stuck atop of a turbine that was blazing on fire, with zero way down. They hugged each other. One person jumped to his death rather than burn alive, the other one tried to run down the stairs, which were already burning very badly, & he was burned to death. Very, Very SAD
8 years after Obama came up with the idea of Wind Energy I am starting to see them rolling down the road in pieces, pure junk in 8 years.
what's the height of these things ? thats one tall crane , , , ! ! thks
Can I say HELL no I could never do that job. NO WAY.
I still can't figure out how the selfie stick records the person holding it but you don't see the selfie stick..🤷♂️
Too scary 😟 for me. I hope you are making tons of money 💰 😲😲😲😲😲
Waste of money... solar too!!!
How about giving this guy a ratchet wrench!
nope not for me at all hell to the no
tools need to be tethered off as well buddy...it falls and hits someone they're dead.
Not me I'm not going get up there like that I climb the outside of our harvest store silo on our dairy farm when we blow silage in it and thats 90 feet tall but alot safer than what this dude is doing i don't have balls that big the wind is blowing him around up on that thing
Don't drop your wrench
What a waste of money
wen you drive to California thers a hole bunch of them some not working .but what are they for?
Lose the wrench and you're done
There are much more efficient uses for all the money spent start to finish for any of these wind generators, not to mention repairs and maintenance.
In remembrance of and total respect for my friend BRUCE LANE, who worked on wind turbines and to all the other men and women that climbed those hives I know that’s a lot of steps to get up to the top. God bless you for what you do.🙏🏼👍🏼
Not Me, Nope,No Way.
Wondering how many wrenches I'd have to haul up there. Call me butter fingers. 😆🤔
Thats a big nope
I've read they use more oil than my old Dodge RV ever will
we have to invent different sources of energy but it usually is only approved if the politicians can line their pockets ( proxy untouchable offshore accounts)
nice safety harness,, it the tower goes down, they made sure dude goes down with it. I would rather be hooked to the crane. tower goes down, I hang there and watch it hit the ground.
that looks the hardest way to do that!
Look at all the oil leakage down the front of the mast of this turbine.
no place to dispose of old blades..
Nuclear power is the answer. Our Navy has nuclear aircraft carriers. Less people have died in a US nuclear power plant then Teddy Kennedy’s car.
Ever see a woman working one of those? Post all links below. 😂
What is the crane hook doing above the worker? The worker tedder off the housing of the turbine.
Drill baby drill
Hell No!!.... no amount of money would get me up there!!
What a joke 😆
No thank you
Those windmills never pay for themselves from the first spin up tell it’s decommissioned. That doesn’t include the bird strikes or the energy required to build it from the steel mill and fabrication to crane operations while constructing the monstrosity. They use 80 gallons of synthetic oil per year, each‼️‼️ Huge scam‼️
