this is one stupid s.o.b. i agree he got lucky, but if he had drifted off the road due to the flow, he would have wasted emergency response teams who could be helping others with actual needs, just to save this dumbass
where I used to live people died every year from being swept into rivers. we had several highways that would cover with water when flooded. people would try crossing it and just get carried off and we'd find him a few weeks later.
