to those of y'all that think this is a widow maker it is not a widow maker is a branch that can fall at any moment without the help of a chainsaw or a saw in general they snap fall and crush you this was just a dumbass cut cutting from the ground is the most dangerous thing you can do unless you just doing a clean out or shaping the tree when taking big cuts like that either piece it from the ground if you gonna do it from the ground or climb the tree with the appropriate safety gear a harness climbing boots spikes and tethered to the tree and than make the cut
