we're super respectful in our home of everyone's privacy. we always knock.... fast forward to my daughter moving out as many 18 year olds do. the 1sf time my baby came to visit SHE KNOCKED.....O HELL NAH. She has an emergency key but I got in her ass. no child of mine will ever have to knock on any doors where they're momma is. wherever I am is home. it made me feel like I failed as her momma. I raise my kids to run home not to run away from her. when I asked her why she felt like she had to knock and right on key she says "ma its a respect thing 🙏 🤲 no different then say calling a female ma'am just respect. her nor her siblings ever knock anymore and they also ain't do not need to call first......everyone else keep knocking u shoulda called first lol 😂 😆
