This happened to me. I came home from work to my entire roof being gone. They were supposed to be a block over. And I got a whole new, top of the line roof and nicely compensated for my inconvenience!

I'm a roofing foreman and all I can say is I wish I came home to someone roofing my house by mistake. I'd be happy as a clam knowing the outcome is a brand new roof for free.

You should have waited until they put the new roof on, I’ve seen these cases before where they just left you home unfinished or placed a lean on your home to get their money back and it takes months to litigate.
how did the materials get delivered to the wrong house as well then guess what its your fault for not being there before they started looks like u get to pay for another person's roof and labor for 2 roofs today because this is your fault and your problem not theres I have never not been on a job before everyone starts to make sure everyone found the place and showed up and had everything to start and finish the job

I actually did awake to loud bangs on my roof. I go out...and they are delivering shingles to my roof. I explain...I just did my roof a few months ago...and they have the wrong house. Why...did they argue with me? Ha! I was the homeowner! 😂😂😂
