You are not supposed to put babies in the basket! Says so on the cart. You’re supposed to put them on the seat provided because of safety reasons.
So what! R u the grocery police? I see parents do it all the time. Besides, the basket is deeper and the sides are higher up. It keeps the child safely in. For a small toddler of 1or 2 yrs old, the seat in the cart is not built to safely hold them in. The only strap is around their waist and doesn't fit properly. The back of the seat us not high enough yo dupport their back or their head and sitting too long, metal can hurt their back znd they can still find a way yo get out and fall. In this video, I think the mom did the right thing. The child was strapped in and the back of the seat was high enough to support both the child's back and head. Good thinking mom.
I think they should have seat in back of the cart handle that pulls down for babies or small toddlers only. I really don't like to have babies bottoms, or dogs in that small seat inside the food shopping carts..🤔
Everybody always has so many suggestions on what a mother should or should not do. If it's not your child and you don't see immediate harm being done to the child then let them be. We ALL parent differently!
